The incumbent should have at least 3 years service with his parent University/institution as on 31/03/2009. In case of non-serving incumbents the age should not be more than 57 years as on 31/03/2009.
The appointment would be subject to the concurrence of the parent University/institution of the incumbent.
Terms and conditions of appointment/deputation:
For Long-Term Chairs : The tenure of Appointment/ Deputation would be initially for Two years and will be subject to the provisions of the agreement to be executed by the candidate with the Council. (ii) Basic pay as being drawn at the time of deputation in the parent department or at the minimum of the pay scale applicable in case of non-serving incumbents. (iii) Compensatory Foreign Allowance as per IFS (PLCA) rules or as determined by the Council.
